The National Weather Service is predicting 2 to 4 inches of snow Saturday from two separate storm systems and has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for coastal New England.
The snow is forecast to start falling around 10 a.m., and 1 to 2 inches are expected. A later burst of snow before midnight is expected to yield another 1 to 2 inches before tapering off before sunrise on Sunday.
Higher snowfall totals — up to 8 inches — are predicted for eastern New England.
