Scattered Showers And Thunderstorms Possible Early This Week

We could get a few sunny days later this week, the National Weather Service says.

 

A cold front is scheduled to move through the region early this week, the National Weather Service says, with high pressure building towards the area Wednesday night and Thursday. Here is the extended forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Southwest wind between 5 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind between 6 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southwest between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. South wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 74.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69.

Friday Night: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 71.
