The Perfect Gift: Meditate Your Holiday Stress Away

Even though the holiday season is all about spending time with friends, family and the people you love we all get caught up with the stress and the craziness of it all. Why not change all of that this year and learn how to really relax and find inner peace?

Meditation is proven to reduce stress, lead to a deeper level of relaxation, slow your heart rate, reduce anxiety, decrease muscle tension and enhance the immune system. Meditation is nothing strange or difficult. It´s simply a way to control your thoughts. And it´s an awesome opportunity to spend time with the most important person in the world - Your Self.

Inner Strength Yoga in Madison offers a Guided Meditation Class and no meditation experience is needed. The class starts with a 20-minute guided meditation where the studio owner Petra Axlund Stegman will talk you thru the entire meditation.

Then you can choose to stay seated for a few minutes in a quiet meditation or lay down on the yoga mat and just relax. After that we will all stay and enjoy a cup of lovely tea. Wear comfortable clothes and socks. Bring your own yoga mat if you have one (the studio has extra mats to borrow for free).

The sessions are Sundays from 12 to 12.45pm (the studio is closed Sunday December 25). The drop-in fee: $15.00
