M.A.D.E. Sends Coaches To Learn About The Effects of Substances on Teens

Madison Alcohol & Drug Education Coalition will send a team of coaches and parents to the Life of an Athlete conference at the Olympic Village in Lake Placid, NY from June 9 to 12.

Daniel Hand High School football coaches Steve Fillipone and Eric Becker, athletic director Craig Semple and M.A.D.E. Chair Lori Lodge will attend the conference to learn more about character development in youth and helping kids to realize what happens to their brains and bodies when they use alcohol and drugs.

“We are thrilled to sponsor these wonderful community leaders and look forward to hearing about all they will learn at the conference,” said Laurie E. Ruderfer, Coalition Coordinator for M.A.D.E.
