Gary And Don's Archeology Road Show, Sunday, July 10th, 4 p.m. At Hammo

BYOS (spear points), or just check out theirs; A wide variety of Native American artifacts including many locally found will be on display including the Mansion Inn Points discovered on the corner of Yankee Peddler and Old Route 79.

Sunday July 10th from noon to 4PM an Archeology Road Show will be presented by Don Rankin and Gary Nolf, members of the Friends of the Office of State Archaeology and Friends of Hammonasset.

The show will be at the Meigs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Beach State Park.

A wide variety of Native American artifacts including many locally found will be on display including the Mansion Inn Points discovered on the corner of Yankee Peddler and Old Route 79.

These spear points date back as early as 3500 years ago.  Commentary will be provided and folks are invited to bring in their own collections for interpretation.
