This is the first event of the Free Friday Film Series at Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society, 297 Boston Post Road. Each month a film will be screened focusing on contemporary social justice issues.  October's offering is "Living In Emergency - Stories of Doctors Without Borders”.  This film tells the story of four volunteers with Doctors Without Borders struggling to provide emergency medical care in the war-zones of Liberia and Congo under extreme conditions. A discussion follows the screening facilitated by Martha Howard, MD and Cindy McNamara, MD, who both have volunteered medical expertise in developing countries.
