Are You Still Without Power? If So, What Can Folks Do To Help?

CL&P reporting only a handful still left without power in Madison. That's great for the rest of us, but for those who have been left without for so long, maybe there's something we can do to help them?

The CL&P outage map reports that a mere handful, six customers, are still without power seven days after Irene hit Madison full force around 6 a.m. two Sundays ago. That means seven long days without power for those customers.

The numbers on the outage map sometimes fluctuate as customers go back online, then have to be taken back offline when a problem is encountered, or when a circuit blows. Town officials report that we may be down to only one customer without power.

That's great for the rest of us and thanks to the men and women on the crews who worked so hard to get us back up, but for those who are still left without, what do you need?
