Come see our new look and say “thank you” to our generous donors! The Durham Public Library has recently completed a reorganization of the preschool area of the Children’s Room to improve sight lines and open up the space. The new layout makes the picture book collection more accessible to young children and encourages browsing.
Please join us on Saturday, June 1st from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Listen to stories, make your own bookmark to take home, or just stop by for a snack and to see the new space.
This remodeling project was made possible in part by a grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County/Herb and Ellen Patterson Memorial Fund/Mary Ann Lambert Random Acts of Kindness Fund. Additional funding was provided from donations to the library.
