Hard Release dates are always on Tuesdays.
Book Facts Tuesday:
Did you know that when there is a “hard release date” for a book, 99% of the time the book will be released for sale on a Tuesday? There doesn’t seem to be a clear consensus why this is, except that it always has been this way. I was first introduced to this book fact when working at a local bookstore in the early 2000s.

Does anyone have have a definitive reason why books have Tuesday release dates? Another odd coincidence here is that this being a reader advisory blog, I publish my posts on Tuesdays.
