A Matter of Choice

Everything comes down to choice for me.

I’m working on a new project that has to do with this blog.  I have several people involved and a few of them, after reading through my thoughts here have asked how I came about my worldview, why I believe what I believe.  What makes Christopher Jennings Penders tick.

I’m very active on Google+.  If you are there and want to connect with me, you can find me at:
cjpwisdomphotos.  I recently joined a blogger group there called Blogging Army.  The idea behind this new group is to create more activity at each other’s blogs, by commenting.  The one caveat to joining the army is that you must also be part of Google+.  Haven’t joined yet?  This is the perfect opportunity for my fellow bloggers.

Okay, so why did I go off on that tangent?  You may ask.  It’s because one member of said army has been posing some probing questions at my blog asking why I write about what I write, asking why I believe what I write.  Taking all these things under consideration:
–The fact that my project readers have asked how I came to my worldview.
–The fact that several of my followers including the one member of The Blogging Army has asked why I believe what I believe has prompted this entry today.

If you refer to the title of this blog, you’ll have your answer to said query.  For myself, everything comes down to choice.

Spirituality?  Religion?  Faith?  All a matter of choice.
We can choose what to believe.  No, can is not an option.  We DO choose what to believe.  If you believe it then that’s true in your worldview.  I’ll again refer toSaint Thomas Aquinas and his quote that is one of my favorite quotes of all time:
To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.

My Faith is so strong that to attempt to remove it from me would be destroying who I am.  See?  I choose to see everything as Divine.  As I said above, I believe everything comes down to choice.

We choose who will be our friends.
We choose how to practice our Faith.
We choose to see the world as positive or negative.

What we choose will color our world in the design we see.  So when someone asks me why I believe what I believe, it’s because I CHOOSE to believe it.  As Saint Thomas so elegantly said:
To one without faith, no explanation is possible

I choose to see the above quote as saying we CAN believe what we choose.  But if we choose the negative:
No Faith, then there’s no hope.

I choose Hope!
I choose Faith!
I choose the Positive!

Remember!  It all comes down to choice.
What do you choose?

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris
