Bookshop Workshops Joel Glassman, a native of Madison, offers us a new way to love literature while helping to keep our independent bookstore alive and thriving.

 

Wednesday, December 5, 7pm Bookshop Workshops presents a reading of  First Dance by Alex Rubin  

Join us for Bookshop Workshops' read-through of Alex Rubin's new play, First Dance!   Bookshop Workshops, a non-profit organization that produces developmental workshops of plays, is coming to R.J. Julia!

Lovers of all language are invited to learn how theater is created right from the beginning of the writer's pen to executing a full-blown theatrical production for opening night.

Join founder Joel Glassman for this exciting workshop and rare opportunity as he channels a new way to love literature while helping to keep the independent bookstore alive and thriving. 

In addition to founding Bookshop Workshops as an aspiring producer, Glassman, a native of Madison, currently works at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) and as the Assistant Producer of Theatre C.

Mr. Glassman, your son was absolutely wonderful! The play was terrific and he did a great job moderating the evening. We are looking forward to having him back! You should be very proud of him. I really enjoyed meeting and talking with him too.
