Tis The Season ... To Take Down The Christmas Lights

Tom Fitting of Royal Oak Landscaping in Madison was working downtown with his crew Wednesday, taking advantage of the relatively balmy weather to take down the lights.

After more than a week of brutal cold weather, Mother Nature has handed us a few relatively balmy days and many people in Madison are taking advantage of the change in the weather to get some work done outside.

In downtown Madison, Tom Fitting from Royal Oak Landscaping of Madison was working with his crew to remove the Christmas lights in the alley between Sampson Rock Road and Boston Post Road.

Compared to last week, when the wind chill factor dipped below zero for several days, Wednesday's 50 plus degree weather was a welcome relief to those who had to do work outside or just wanted to get outside for a bit.
