The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing nighttime closures of the Route 34 Eastbound ramps to I-95 North and I-91 North in New Haven. The closures are scheduled for Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM and are scheduled to continue through September 2012.
The ramp closures are required to facilitate the erection of steel for the new interchange for the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program.
DETOUR INFO: Motorists traveling Route 34 East to I-95 North or I-91 North will be detoured to I-95 South and Exit 45 (Ella Grasso Boulevard), where they will be directed back to I-95 North or I-91 North. Signs will be posted to assist motorists.
All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
