Madison's High Tide Heading To Newport Food Truck Fest' This Weekend!

From the Newport Food Truck Festival: 

Food Truck Festivals of New England is pleased to announce the return of the Newport Food Truck Festival, at the Newport Yachting Center on October 26th from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The festival will feature over a dozen of New England’s most popular food trucks – many of which returning to the festival for the second year in a row! The trucks will be serving up everything from gourmet grilled cheese to barbeque ribs, to taco varieties, pesto pizza and seafood, plus dessert trucks with homemade ice cream sandwiches, whoopee pies, and more. The festival will also feature sampling tents, live music, and beer and wine for sale.

The 2013 season will also include a new, more simplified ticketing system, with wristbands for sale at a discounted price in advance online for $7, and $10 at the festival, with $1 benefiting the American Red Cross. The wristband will lower attendee’s Festival Food prices at all trucks. 

All trucks will be serving small bites for wristband holders as well as full meals for all attendees. Trucks will be accepting cash and credit (most), and there will be ATMs on site. The Newport Food Truck Festival will take place at the Newport Yachting Center at 4 Commercial Wharf. Parking lots and metered spots are scattered throughout downtown Newport.
