Madison's High Tide Featured On Feast TV! And Will Be Joined By Sugar The Cupcake Truck On Fridays!

Owner Rich Messier says Jason Hawkins is a great guy who poked his nose into everything and tried out a variety of dishes while filming the segment. And he says stop by on Fridays, when you'll be able to top your meal off with a cupcake.

Madison's High Tide food truck was featured this week on Jason Hawkins' Feast TV.

Hawkins reports that High Tide Gourmet is "wowing people" here on the shoreline. He talks about the wide variety of items on the menu, which includes veggie burgers with roasted red pepper aioli, slow cooked rum guava pulled pork, Thai sea scallops and crab cakes.

But it's the lobster roll that keeps people coming back, Messier says.

"From what I'm hearing, it's the biggest on the shoreline," Messier says on Feast TV, with his characteristic modesty.

But why take his word for it?

Hawkins' verdict? "Buttery, chunky, full of lobster meat. A +" he says.

Messier said Hawkins was very thorough about his reporting, poking his nose into everything in the truck, and trying a wide variety of dishes. He also said Hawkins was a great guy and that he enjoyed meeting him.

Messier says his food truck will be playing a duet, along with Sugar the Cupcake Truck on Friday's from from 4 to 7 p.m. for the foreseeable future. Check High Tide Gourment's Facebook page if you're heading in from far away, to make sure the weather is cooperating and that nothing else has changed.

Messier says he also was just invited to the New England Food Truck Association's big bash in Newport, RI on Oct. 20th, where 6,000 attendees are expected. High Tide Gourmet also can be found in New Haven most Monday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at a variety of locations. Again, check the Facebook page listed above for specific locations.

And, Messier's truck can be booked for private events. For more information, call him at (203) 605-7020.
