New Restaurants to be Included in Renovated Madison Rest Stops

Madison's two rest stops will be under construction in the near future and more restaurants will be featured along with the makeover.

Madison’s two rest stops will be under construction beginning this fall when Project Service, LLC of Milford begins a year-long renovation project on both locations.

The northbound rest stop will feature a Fast Freddie’s convenience store, Subway, and Dunkin Donuts. The southbound station will have a McDonald’s, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Aunt Annie’s pretzel stand and possibly a CinnaBon.

And, both locations will undergo renovations to the fuelling stations, the bathrooms, security systems, septic and drainage systems, according to a report in the New Haven Register.
