Why you should go right now: Co-owners Clem Gazzillo and Eddie Dautaj take their commitment to fresh ingredients seriously, even in winter. Although they use canned tomatoes, imported from Italy, for their sauce, pizza toppings such as mushrooms and peppers are always fresh, never canned. Regardless of the weather, you can still enjoy Petrillo’s food. The owners have a team of 12 drivers who deliver free to customers in Madison, Clinton and Killingworth. “Why shiver? We deliver,” Gazzillo says.
