Scouts Assist Veterans and Paint the American Legion Hall

Troop 1 in Madison -- also known as Troop 491 -- recently got together to "give back" to their community Veterans and paint the American Legion Hall on Bradley Road.

 "The Camping Troop", as they are referred to , regularly meets at the ALH.  They appreciate having such a centralized meeting place and can often be seen helping work as food servers at ALH holiday parties.

The Scouts, their Leaders and parent volunteers got together on a Sunday to paint all the trim white.  In year's past they planted day lilies and bushes around the property and did spring and fall clean ups.
