Bob McCandlish relocates hands on expressions™ massage to Health Options Center for Wellness in Guilford
Bob McCandlish, founder of hands on expressions,™ chose the name in 2007
to convey a unified brand name for his massage practice, poetry and art for the
Connecticut shoreline and beyond. “hands on” points to the universal need to
find and understand ourselves, to feel good about the paths we are on and the
importance of an active role creating the lives we desire. His unique approach
to massage is described as “therapeutic and intuitive, strong and gentle all at once” treating athletes, chronic pain sufferers and those managing injury, surgery, stress and neurological disorders.

A lifelong health and well being enthusiast, Bob spent three seasons in minor
league baseball with the Chicago Cubs after graduating Fairfield University in 1984. He is a 2008 graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, an American Massage Therapy Association member, nationally accredited and holds Connecticut license 005700.
Says Bob: “My life experience flows easily to my massage practice, writing and
public speaking. I offer them to others as powerful self-care tools to
re-connect with the physical, mental and spiritual balance needed to live life
well on our own terms.”
