From the Chair of our Winter Wonder Ball, Beth Coyne:
"We've been optimistic, but the Blizzard of 2013 has outdone us this time. The Winter Wonder Ball for the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library is cancelled for tonight, Saturday, February 9, due to the impact of the blizzard. The library is prepared to offer full or partial refunds for your tickets. If you would like us to do that please send a note to the library with the name of the person the check should be made out to, if you would like full or how much if partial, and the address. Send that to E.C. Scranton Memorial Library, PO Box 631, Madison, CT 06443 by the middle of March. Please call the Library on Monday at (203) 245-7365 if you have any questions. We thank you so much for your support and hope to hold a "Spring Fling" where we will auction off the many amazing items that were donated for this event. Stay tuned!!"
As of right now we are planning to open the Library at 1:00 pm tomorrow however I will send an update to Patch if anything changes. It will also be announced on channels 3, 8 and 30 tomorrow morning under Scranton Library.
