The Legend Of Robin Hood! Live!

An adventure full of "laughter, romance, true nobility, wretched villainy, slashing lances, and flashing blades," is unfolding on Lover's Lane in Guilford, CT on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.

It's the Robin Hood Springtime Festival. Highlights include jousting, armored combat, music, comedy, and games.

The events this weekend are the first of three weekends full of fun. This is opening weekend. Next weekend, on May 25 and 26, is Fantasy and Romance weekend, with a Men in Tights contest, an opportunity to renew your vows with Friar Tuck, and a Fair Maids contest. On June 1 and 2, it is Pet Weekend, dress your dog up as Robin Hood or one of his Merry Men and compete for prizes.

Parking is $3 and adult admission is $16. Children 7 years to 15 years are $10 and children six and under are free.
