Shoreline Soul Workshop Set For Spring

Community choral gospel five-session workshop will be held at the First Congregational Church in Guilford

 

will hold a five-session Shoreline Soul gospel workshop in Guilford this spring, the New Haven Register reported in its Elm City Express blog.

"The five, uplifting, 2-hour workshop sessions will culminate in a hand-clapping, foot-stomping concert, where the participants will perform the traditional and contemporary gospel songs they've learned," Clemmons, a professional singer from Madison, said in the blog.

"Because it's all about the music and not a church service, we get singers from all faiths and even the faith-less," Clemmons said in the blog, noting that all levels of singers are welcome to participate.

Sessions will be held on April 30, May 7, 14, 21 and June 4 from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Guilford and the concert will be on June 10 at 3 p.m.
