Madison Town Green Rocks

More concerts coming up ...

Madison’s summer concert series kicked off Sunday night with a raucous performance by the Larry Steven’s Band. These New Jersey boys have opened for the likes of Kenny Loggins, Todd Rundgren, Foreigner, and the Doobie Brothers; and are slotted to open for Huey Lewis next week.

“They drove all the way up the (Interstate) 95,” said concert director, Carrie Gazda. “So they were burning a lot of energy.”

Gazda and her committee started planning the town concert series in January. These free two-hour concerts take place on Sunday at 6 p.m.
