Editor's note: So I went to the beach this afternoon and who did I find but four comedians! Al, Kevin, Jackie, and Tom ... They're getting along fine so far, but we're all looking forward to the smackdown tonight!

With 4 National Comedy Headliners whose credits include movies and television as well as comedy clubs and theatres around the nation, the original COMEDY SMACKDOWN is full of nonstop hilarity.  Expect hooks, upper cuts, knock outs and a whole ring full of laughter from these talented performers as Boston takes on New York.

Representing Boston – Kevin Flynn & Jackie Flynn

Jackie Flynn has emerged as one of the funniest and most talked about comedians to come out of Boston. Joining the ranks of Steven Wright, Denis Leary , Lenny Clarke and Jay Leno. He has quickly parlayed his success as a stand-up to firmly establish himself in the film and television arena.  Early on in his career, Jackie was discovered on stage in Boston by the Farrelly brothers, who have since cast him in back to back roles in “King Pin”, “There’s Something About Mary”, “Me,Myself And Irene” “Shallow Hal” and “Stuck On You”, where he played opposite pop-diva Cher.  Fans of the hit show “The King Of Queens”, will recognize Jackie from his many appearances on that show, as well as his role along side the likes of Burt Reynolds, NFL Coach Jimmy Johnson and Jerome Bettis as one of the “Men Of The Square Table” in the hugely popular Miller Lite “Man Law” commercials.  He is also one of the proud winners of the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition, as well as a featured performer at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival gala. Recently he was chosen to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado produced by HBO.  Jackie is truly a “comic’s comic”, whose refreshingly unique brand of sarcastic observational humor puts him in a class all his own, apart from the many derivative cookie cutter comics plying the airways today. Audiences young and old appreciate his wit and rapid fire “take no prisoners” delivery.

Kevin Flynn

 Known as “Dr. Bram Walker” from HBO’s Sex and the City, Madison CT native Kevin Flynn has thrilled audiences for years with his stand-up comedy performances.  Kevin can be seen regularly in some of the top clubs in the country.  His comedy career took off after winning the Boston Comedy Riot in 1988, where he then began appearing on numerous comedy specials.  Flynn has also appeared in numerous movies including The Heartbreak Kid, Me, Myself and Irene, and Osmosis Jones. His one-man show, Around the Kitchen Table, won the “Best of the Fest” at the Boston Comedy Festival and HBO’s prestigious U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Most recently, Flynn has been hosting Plum TV’s Plum Daily Show on Nantucket and is often seen on FOX News, The Strategy Room.  Kevin is the co-founder and executive director of the Nantucket Comedy Festival.  Flynn’s unique comedy style and brand of stand-up performance is not to be missed.

Representing New York – Al Ducharme & Tom Van Horn

Al Ducharme’s film credits include Miramax’s “Next Stop Wonderland” and “Original Sin” on CBS. His TV credits: “Comics Unleashed w/Byron Allen”, NBC’s “Today Show”, “Inside Edition”, “Comedy.TV”, hosting “Mission Organization” on HGTV and a long list of TV commercials. His first Comedy DVD “Spineless and Loving it”, available in stores, was produced by National Lampoon and his popular CD “Manchild” is available on iTunes.  Based in Los Angeles and New York Al performs at all major Manhattan comedy clubs: Caroline’s on Broadway, The Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club and Rodney Dangerfield’s. He’s kept busy headlining comedy clubs, theaters, over 300 colleges and his corporate client list (Apple, Cantor Fitzgerald, Merrill Lynch, etc.) is available upon request. Al has also received rave reviews internationally, making people laugh in Europe (Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona), Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Africa and China. He’s been a featured performer at numerous comedy festivals including Montreal Comedy Festival, the LOL Sudbury Comedy Festival, Beirut Comedy Festival and the Gala at the Boston Comedy Festival.   No matter what he does, Heineken commercials, TV panel appearances or performing to a sold out expat crowd in Beijing , Al Ducharme is one undeniably funny man.

Tom Van Horn started performing stand-up back in 1994 after his girlfriend of nine years dumped him. Having a lot of anger and bitterness and nowhere to vent, he went to an open mic and spewed his feelings about his life to a room full of strangers. And so another comic is born! Hey, it was cheaper than going to therapy. Within a few short years he became a regular in the NYC club circuit and now headlines at clubs around the country.  Tom has appeared on Last Comic Standing (NY Finalist), E! Entertainment Television, Fox News “Red Eye” and VH1’s Stand Up Spotlight. He has also performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, NY Underground Comedy Festival and the Nantucket Comedy Festival.
