It's Kenny From Donahue's V. George From The Stone House At 'Art of the Cocktail'

The Art of the Cocktail will be Thursday, Feb. 28 at the Guilford Art Center. The Latin theme this year will feature George Talbot of The Stone House in a duel with Donahue's Kenny Burton.

 

On Thursday, Feb. 28 from 6-9 PM, Guilford Art Center will hold its second annual cocktail party fundraiser, The Art of the Cocktail. This year's event is a Latin theme that will celebrate creative mixology and fine art

This year, George Talbot of The Stone House will 'duel' Kenny Burton of Donahue's Madison Beach Grille. Talbot is the 3-time Best Bartender winner in Best of New Haven's Readers' Poll, and Burton, whose known for his 'Kenny Colada,' has been feature in CT.com's Bartender Buddha series.

According to their press release:

Each bartender will be concocting imaginative cocktails for guests to savor while they enjoy Latin tapas, live music by Puerto Rican classical guitarist Yovianna Garcia, and a silent auction of cocktail napkin-sized art, restaurant offerings, and more. The Art Center gallery will be featuring its Student Exhibit during the event.

The Art of the Cocktail is $50 per person, with proceeds to benefit Guilford Art Center’s educational and community programs. Reservations are limited; call to make a reservation: 203-453-5947; or pay for reservations online.
