Great Escape: Shoreline Health and Fitness

Set Down Those Lingering Valentine's Day Truffles And Back Away Slowly

March is finally here. Thoughts of spring, green grass, Easter eggs, sunshine and pastel colors are beginning to set in. Undoubtedly most of us are ready to ditch the snow, but are we ready to shed those bulky winter sweaters?

Let’s face it—bathing suits are already in stores! Now that’s a scary idea. All this hunkering down probably has left lots of us not quite so yellow polka dot bikini-ready.

Now don’t start emptying the contents of your pantry into a trash bag just yet. Shoreline Health and Fitness has some great ways to help you get into shape. And with locations in Clinton and Old Saybrook, you carpooling moms out there can make the gym fit your schedule.

Whether you’d like to throw on your sweats and hop on the treadmill or jump into one of the gym’s many classes, Shoreline Health and Fitness has plenty of options. Be sure to check out the calendars—different class schedules are available for each location.

As an added bonus for all those busy parents out there, Shoreline Health and Fitness offers a Kid’s Club! Check out the March schedule of fun crafts and activities they have planned. And to really grab your attention, note that every Saturday is Parents’ Night Out! From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., kids from 6 months to 12 years old can come by for movies and games. Location switches weekly, so plan accordingly!
