Snakes at Scranton Library

Join Scott Tucker of Expedition New England for a close up encounter with some of the most amazing reptiles in the world -  Snakes!  We're talking Connecticut snakes! Unlike Australia Madison is home to a fantastic population of harmless snakes! 99.9% of our snakes are totally harmless in Southern Connecticut but learn to identify the two venomous species to be safe "Northern Copperhead and Timber Rattlesnake" .  Millions of these misunderstood reptiles have been needlessly destroyed out of ignorance and fear.  Join Scott and a few snakes Wednesday June 6th, 7pm to 8:30pm in the Scranton Library Community Room.
