Online Adult Summer Reading Program at Scranton Library

Summer reading is not just for kids anymore.  Beginning Monday, July 9 adults can sign up to participate in their own online summer reading program.  After registering through the Library’s website, participants will log the number of books they have read to earn prizes and raffle tickets for a chance at winning the Grand Prize, a Kindle Fire.  The program will run through August 31.

The Adult Summer Reading Program is called “Between the Covers.”  This is a nationally selected slogan to tie into the overall summer reading theme of “night.”  Related programs and displays are also being planned for adults.
