Colleen Plimpton presents "Mentors and Memories in the Garden."

Friends of Scranton Library invite you to 'think Spring' with Colleen Plimpton on Wed. March 23 at 7pm as she presents a program called "Mentors and Memories in the Garden." Bethel, CT garden author, lecturer, instructor and coach, Ms. Plimpton's newest book Mentors in the Garden of Life  has been named a USA Book News finalist for one of the  "Best Books of 2010" in the home/garden category. She currently writes a weekly gardening column for the Danbury News-Times. Her book  will be available for purchase. She focuses on lessons learned from others in the garden and ask us to honor those who have shared of themselves in the garden as well as in life. Free and open to the public.
