A Ukulele Afternoon with Liz & Jim Beloff

Friends of Scranton Library invite you to enjoy live music with a fun and fantastic program presented by Liz and Jim Beloff. Learn a bit about the history of the ukulele focusing on the current wave of uke popularity along with fun stories about where their passion for the uke has led - to adventures with celebrities like George Harrison, Bette Midler and Eddie Vedder! Next, sit back and enjoy a performance by Liz and Jim and then you and your uke can sing and strum-along with the Beloffs! Can you think of a better way to spend your Sunday afternoon? Don't forget to bring your ukulele! Open and free to the public. CDs and songbooks will be available for sale. RSVP recommended www.scrantonlibrary.org/eventscalendar
