A Celebration of Life and Hope

A Celebration of Life and Hope” will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the The Waterview in Monroe, CT.  The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception and silent auction, followed at 7 p.m. with presentations, dinner and a keynote address from Julia Sweeney (Saturday Night Live, Pulp Fiction, Sex & the City).  Other speakers will include Dr. Jennifer M. Kapo (Yale Cancer Center), Governor Dannel Malloy (invited) and Senator Richard Blumenthal (invited).   The emcees are Gillian Neff of News 12 and Morgan Amarone (Miss Connecticut 2011). We expect approximately 500 attendees.

Who we are: The Cancer Support Community of Southern Connecticut (CSC-SCT) is an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community – an international network of independently chartered nonprofits whose mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.  CSC-SCT is proud to be building the first facility and offsite programming of its kind in Connecticut, serving Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex and New London Counties.
