Durham Fair 2012 Snags Two Top Country Stars As Headliners
Country musicians Kellie Pickler, Kenny Rogers will play the Main Stage at this year's fair scheduled for Sept. 27-30.
Country music star Kellie Pickler will headline this year's Durham Fair.
The 25-year-old will take the Main Stage on Saturday, Sept. 29, according to fair officials.

Pickler will be joined by country music icon Kenny Rogers who has signed on to perform at the fair on Friday, Sept. 28.
Pickler finished in sixth placed during the fifth season of American Idol but has sold over 800,000 albums since. Her third album, 100 Proof, was released in January. She's won numerous awards, including Performance of the Year and Breakthrough of the Year at the CMT awards.

Rogers, 73, began his career in country music in 1958. He's received a number of awards, including Grammys and AMAs, and earned a lifetime achievement award in 2003.
