My plans for the weekend? Go the beach. And then go to another beach. Party tomorrow, dinner on the beach tomorrow night. Barbeque at the neighbors Monday.
In honor of Labor Day, I might do just a little work. And, as I'm out and about, I'm going to thank all of those who are working this weekend so the rest of us can have fun.
What are you doing this weekend? We want to see! Share your photos with us. Below you'll find a list of beaches and hiking trails, along with a list of things to do this weekend, and movie showtimes, and a list of what's closed and open on Monday.
A favorite past time for Labor Day is packing a picnic and heading for the great outdoors. One of my favorite places for one-stop shopping when it comes to packing a picnic? in the North Madison Shopping plaza right off of the traffic circle. I like the little round Chicken Cordon Bleu and the chicken wings.
What's your favorite place to shop for a picnic? Let us know in the comments.
Want to eat outdoors? My favorite locations for that include the deck of the (try the Lobster Eggs Benedict if you go for breakfast), and the patio at (the farmhouse ale and burger make for a perfect meal). Where's your favorite place for an outdoor meal?
If you're going to head out for any extended period of time, be sure to check the weather forecast first.
