Friday night lights return at the DHHS Tigers' season opener  vs. Amity at the Surf Club at 7pm.  Come on down to cheer on the State Champion Tigers & also enjoy the great Tiger Marching Band!

The  Madison Chamber of Commerce will sponsor an outdoor Antique Show on Saturday, September 15 from 9am to 4pm on the Madison Town Green.  Over 50 distinguished antique dealers from throughout the northeast will participate in the show and food will be available all day.  Admission to the show is $4, but you can use the coupon below for discounted admission, by clicking on http://madisonct.com/?attachment_id=2140 to download the coupon, or just show us the coupon on your smartphone upon your arrival!

MUM'S THE WORD!!!

There is a fundraiser for Madison Cares- Habitat for Humanity at St. Andrew's Church, 232 Durham Road, Madison this Friday Sept. 14 through Sunday the 16th, from 9am to 5pm.  8" mums will sell for $5 and very large hanging baskets and planters will be $15 each.  Ornamental grasses will also be available for sale for $4 to $6.  As all the plants were donated ALL proceeds go to  

Madison Cares Habitat for Humanity!   

Join Ranger Russ Miller at the Hammonasset State Park Nature Center for Fireside Stories on Saturday, September 15 at 7:00pm; Enjoy stories and fables and bring blankets and sticks, marshmallows will be provided.  

Reminder - The Madison Rotary Club's Annual Golf Outing takes place on Monday, September 17 at the Madison Country Club, and includes lunch catered by Edd's Place and dinner at the beautiful Madison Beach Hotel.  Enjoy 18 holes of golf on the shoreline's premier golf course overlooking Long Island Sound, great golfers' gifts and complimentary cocktails at the course before heading down for a great dinner on the water.  

There is still plenty of room for golfers  - please register on line by clicking here, or call 203-245-8705.  If you do not have a foursome, no problem - they are putting groups together.  Take the day off and help the Rotary Club achieve their goal so that their many worthwhile programs can continue!    

 Nineteen members of the Madison Art Society Board of Directors will be showcasing their art work during the month of September at the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library in the Community Room located at 801 Boston Post Road, Madison, Ct 06433.  The art display will include sculpture, watercolors, oils and pastels that can be viewed during normal library hours throughout the week.  As always, the MAS donates a percentage of any sales to the library.
