The same Madison residents and business owners (see below) that volunteered their time to do the demolition of Strong Field come back to begin the renovation of the Nelson I and II baseball fields.
With help from Town Public Works employees, they will remove the fencing and backstops, remove and stockpile infield clay, remove the sod layer, regrade the fields, install irrigation, replace infield clay, fine grade the fields, seed the fields and install new fencing, backstops, foul line poles and player benches.
