Snowstorm Forces Metro-North to Reduce Service

The New Haven line will be operating at 75% capacity on Thursday, Feb. 13. Here's where to find train times.

Metro-North is reducing train service on Thursday, Feb. 13, in anticipation of a snowstorm that is forecast to dump upwards of a foot of snow.

"This service plan represents 75% of our regular service and is based on projected lower ridership and our efforts to minimize the effects of the storm on our equipment and infrastructure," Metro-North states. "The combined trains were chosen to minimize customer impacts and to get customers to their destination within 10-15 minutes of their normal time."

Metro-North says customers should use caution when entering and exiting trains, and on platforms and staircases.
