Madison Newcomers, Deacon John Grave House, Downtown Merchants Get The Halloween Celebration Rolling
For more Halloween fun, be sure to show up at the Halloween Trunk or Treat Oct. 31st from 4 to 6 p.m. on the town green!
If you were downtown Saturday morning, you might have seen a bunch of ghosts, goblins, skeletons, and princesses out and about.
Those creatures, along with their parents, were enjoying an early Halloween celebration sponsored by the Madison Newcomers Club, one of the moms told us. She said that downtown merchants gave out candy and that there was a party at the Deacon John Grave House as well.
This particular mom was delighted. She said she was glad to learn about the Newcomers Club, that they made her feel welcome, and that she was glad to get a little extra mileage out of her daughter's Halloween Costume.
