Just Thought You Would Like To See This ...

There are no tropical cyclones at this time in the Atlantic Ocean.

Someone posted this to my Facebook page. I thought that was awesome news and thought you might too. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this lasts. 

In fact, the weather doesn't get any better than it has been for the past few days. After a spectacular day on the shoreline Monday, we got another one Tuesday. The forecast for Wednesday is looking good as well. After that, we may see some deterioration in the weather with showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. 

So let's enjoy this sunshine while it lasts. 

Here's the extended forecast from the National Weather Service: 

• Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
• Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1am. Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Thursday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
• Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
