Henry And Lily Vote For Cheese Pizza

Henry and Lily Keller accompanied their mother, Lydia Williams-Keller, to the polls in Madison Tuesday evening. While they were very interested in the outcome of the referendum, which will determine whether the town and schools budgets pass, they were also interested in the outcome of a contest.

The contest, sponsored by the Island Avenue School PTO, will award a pizza party to the class that collects the most "I Voted" stickers.

Polls closed at 8 pm!! Both the town and the school budget passed. We hope you had a chance to stop by, and weigh in on a referendum that will have a direct effect on the services you and you family receive, and on the amount of local taxes you will pay. The Board of Finance is scheduled to meet Wednesday night to set the mil rate, which will determine how much residents have to pay in taxes.

And if you see a youngster from Island Avenue School, you can always donate your sticker!
