The Makem and Spain Brothers are the first families of Irish traditional music. Attempting to measure the influence folks like Tommy Makem have had on the culture of the Irish song is simply impossible. The classic songs of raging seas, lost love, emigration, death and life are all rendered in incredible 5-part harmonies with virtuoso accompaniment. This is the wellspring, where it all started from, performed by the originals. As always, free Ashley's ice cream after the show!
