The Holy Walkamolies raise money for Relay For Life

The Holy Walkamolies, a group of Madison 9th and 8th graders, is once again raising money for the Shoreline Relay For Life event in Branford on May 17th.  Relay for Life raises money for the American Cancer Society, and The Holy Walkamolies team was the leading fundraising team for the 2013 event, raising over $10,000.  The team hopes to meet or exceed their goal this year and is hosting several bake sales (4/26 at the Guilford Walmart, 4/27 at the Madison Stop and Shop, 5/3 at West Warf and Surf Club Road and 5/10 at Roberts) and a wine tasting event at Chamard Winery in Clinton on May 9th.  The bake sales will be approximately 10:30 to 3:00 each day, and the wine tasting is 6:00PM to 8:00PM, is $60 and reservations should be made in advance.  To donate directly to the team, please visit www.relayforlife.org , put "Branford, CT" in the sign up for event box, click "donate to a team" and then donate to The Holy Walkamolies (leader is Emerson Butler). For more information on any of the events or to register for the wine tasting, please email theholywalkamolies@comcast.net."
