Local Dance Students Will Be “Dancing Through The Decades” at Annual Spring Dance Concert

The Dance Corner, of Killingworth CT, will hold its 20th annual Spring Dance Concert titled “Dancing Through the Decades” on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 at 2:00 pm at the Haddam-Killingworth High School Auditorium in Higganum, CT.

The annual production will showcase the talents of Dance Corner students of all ages and levels. The performances have been inspired by a collection choreography and music from the 1920's to today. From the charlestons of the 20's to 40's swing and 70's disco, the dancers will perform a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Irish Step Dance and Acrobatics.

Additionally, the Spring Dance Concert will feature the award-winning choreography performed by The Dance Corner Company members. All of the students at The Dance Corner have worked tremendously hard over the 30 week dance season and are excited to share their passion for dance as well as demonstrate all that they have learned throughout the year.

The Dance Corner welcomes new students of any age or level. Beginning Monday, June 16, The Dance Corner will be starting summer dance classes. The studio is currently accepting summer camps and class registration.  Summer classes are a great time to try a new style, to work on improving technique or to just have fun!
