Guilford Foundation Awards $1500 Grant to ERACE

Guilford Foundation has announced the award of a $1500 Grant to the East Shore Region Adult & Continuing Education program (ERACE).  Several funds of the Guilford Foundation contributed to this grant, the Stuart Burt Fund, Corky Fisher Fund and the Al and Gene Bishop Fund for Vocational and Industrial Arts.

ERACE proposes to offer Job shadowing experiences with local businesses for high school completion students (CDP, GED, NEDP) with the program made available this Fall 2014. ERACE welcomes this generous grant as an enriching opportunity for those students who need work experiences as they prepare for personal career choices.

ERACE is dedicated to providing comprehensive and responsive opportunities for all adult learners who seek academic and personal growth, supported in a professional environment to meet diverse student needs.
