Madison Sexual Assault Case Heads To Court
Lawyers disagree about which evidence should be presented to jury
Evidence is set to begin on Tuesday for the trial of Robert Pentland III, 40, but his lawyers disagree about which evidence should be presented to the jury, the New Haven Register reported.
According to the article, the Madison man "is charged with third-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child and unlawful restraint. A second file, also to be decided in this trial, accuses him of second-degree threatening and first-degree reckless endangerment concerning the same child."
Both the girl and her mother are expected to testify, but "Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Mary Elizabeth Baran filed a motion Friday seeking to exclude any evidence that the mother has undergone psychiatric treatment," citing the information to be “irrelevant” and “remote in time," the New Haven Register reported.

The case is about HIM and keeping HIM from harming other girls and tormenting families. Whether the mother ever underwent psychiatric treatment before or after this scumbag assualted her daughter is irrelevant to the case.
