DHHS Cheer Team Shines At SCC Competition

ALL SCC On February 2, 2013, the Daniel Hand cheerleaders competed against 15 teams and placed fourth in the All Girl Division.  With this success, DHHS also had 3 cheerleaders named to the ALL SCC cheer team.

They were recognized and awarded after the team performances at Shelton High School.   Pictured are the award winners and coach, Tiffany Kaufmann, Junior-Two time winner, Michelle Kaufmann, DHHS cheer coach, Taylor Ardito, Junior-Two time winner, and Madi McNeilly, Sophomore.    (picture 038) ALL StateDaniel Hand High School was honored to have Mr. Semple, DHHS Athletic Director present Tiffany Kaufmann with her All State Cheerleading, Class LL award letter at the Hand basketball game over February break.

Tiffany is a Junior, and second year recipient for this award.  The All State Cheerleaders will be recognized at a banquet in March.

Tiffany also was recognized as a Universal Cheerleading Association "All American Cheerleader" in 2012 and 2013. Last January, she want to London England to march in the New Years Day parade with other All American Cheerleaders from across the nation. Daniel Hand High School also recognized Christine Donat, as the first Academic All State Cheerleader that was ever honored. Christine was part of the football Varsity Cheer squad, a co-captain, and senior at DHHS.
